PHotoEspaña presents ‘Latin Fire’, an exhibition and a book containing a selection of images from the Anna Gamazo de Abelló Collection, one of the most outstanding in Europe, dedicated to Latin American photography. Through the eyes of more than sixty artists from eight countries, ‘Latin Fire’ reviews little-known facets of Latin American photography. Rather than attempting to present localisms or regional standardizations, the exhibition shows common features that can be found in the region’s hot topics in the second half of the 20^th century, a period of great political and social upheaval.
