This volume contains a unique moment for the avant-garde in Spain: during the 1930s, figures such as José Manuel Aizpúrua, Eduardo Lagarde, Jorge Oteiza, Gabriel Celaya, Picasso, Lorca and Le Corbusier gathered around San Sebastian.

A decisive decade in the 20^th century, the 1930s, and the geographical context of the city of San Sebastian, where a period for art and culture converged to occupy a crucial moment for Basque art and also a prominent place in the Spanish historical avant-garde.

The exhibition was on display at the San Telmo Museum in San Sebastian from 4 November 2016 to 5 February 2017.
